Dear Member,

Please be advised that, before arrival of the ships which will pass through the Turkish Straits / which will come to the port, fulfillment of the following points is necessary:

1-     To have onboard ship “Maritime Traffic Regulations in the Turkish Straits” (T.B.D.T.D.T.).

2-     Especially, to ensure the technical requirements concerning safety in item 5 of T.B.D.T.D.T. (Maritime Traffic Regulations in the Turkish Straits).

3-     The Rules concerning Pilot Shroud / Combined Rigging in (SOLAS) Section 5, rule 23 should be respected.

4-     Also, Captains of the ships should be informed as regards ensuring the safety of navigation, life, property and environment in the Turkish Straits, by respecting with utmost diligence  the points in other rules of the above mentioned Regulations and in the International Rules to which they are  subject to.
