FONASBA is partnering with the Maritime Anti-Corruption Network (MACN) and can now offer its members special access to their well-established Anti-corruption course for agents! FONASBA is excited to announce a new partnership with the Maritime Anti-Corruption Network (MACN). Through this collaboration, FONASBA members will gain access to MACN's highly-regarded Anti-Corruption Course, specifically designed for agents. This course provides in-depth knowledge and practical strategies to combat corruption in the maritime industry, equipping agents with the tools they need to navigate complex ethical challenges effectively. By joining forces, FONASBA and MACN are committed to promoting transparency, integrity, and ethical practices within the global maritime community.

Corruption drains resources and imposes significant financial costs on the industry, leading to indirect expenses through unfair competition, inefficiency at ports, and undermining efficient trade. It also takes a heavy psychological toll on affected maritime professionals, associated with insecurity, criminality, and other forms of corruption both at sea and on land.
