Dear All,

Further to our recent emails regarding the introduction of the EU’s ICS2 Import Control System (now postponed until 03.06.2024), please find attached a letter received from DG-TAXUD providing background information and useful links to the resources provided by TAXUD to support companies in making the change from ICS1 to ICS2. You are therefore invited to circulate this information to your member companies for their guidance.

Whilst in contact on the subject of ICS2, we would also remind you of the ECASBA survey on implementation that is open until 19th January, it can be found at: https://forms.office.com/e/XcjUbzvjxp  Thanks to Croatia, Denmark and the Netherlands that have already responded, other responses will be welcome so that Frank Janssens can report to DG-TAXUD in early February on the status of the project within the Member States.
