Good day to you All,
We are pleased to announce that the International Maritime Organization (IMO) has published the attached edition of the Guidelines on Port Community Systems.
This initiative, which we proudly co-sponsored alongside our colleagues at IPCSA and with the support of some Club Members, is part of the IMO's continuous efforts through its Facilitation Committee to promote the electronic exchange of ship information—a process in which Port Community Systems (PCS) play a crucial role.
Many of our member associations are actively engaged in PCS initiatives, and we remain committed to supporting IPCSA, with whom we share a reciprocal membership status.
Today, we are distributing these guidelines to all our members. We particularly encourage those in countries without an existing and operational PCS to collaborate with local authorities and relevant stakeholders in the supply chain to foster the development of these systems.
For our members who are already participating in or utilizing a PCS, we trust that these guidelines will prove to be a valuable resource.
Sayın Üyelerimizin bilgilerine rica ederiz.
