‘’Dear all,
Just a quick reminder about the FONASBA education courses currently on offer.
The first FONASBA/ACB Tramp Shipping course starts on 13th October and runs to 4th December. Details of the course and content are attached. Registrations should be sent directly to ACB at acb@consignatarios.com before the closing date for this course of 5th October. Information on the next course, which will start in 2023, will be circulated in due time.
FONASBA Agent Diploma: Provided in conjunction with ASBA in the USA, the Agent Diploma programme runs continuously, and participation is organised through the relevant national association, although Associate members can register directly with ASBA. Companies wishing to register students for the course should contact their national association. Information on the courses, for companies and their employees, is attached.
FONASBA Certificate in the Fundamentals of Shipbroking: This course is supported by the Institute of Chartered Ship Brokers in London. It too runs continuously and therefore students can register at any time. Like the ASBA course above, it too is administered by the national association and so the initial contact should be made by that route. Relevant information for companies is also attached.
FONASBA/ACB Liner and Ro/Ro courses: the current courses are now underway, so registrations are closed. New courses will be offered later this year or early next, so please keep an eye on FONASBA’s Facebook and LinkedIn pages on social media or check regularly with your association for further information.
