Based on our actions in supporting efforts to allow
stranded seafarers return home, and replacements to reach their vessels,
FONASBA was contacted last week by Margi Van Gogh, Head of Supply Chain &
Transport at the World Economic Forum. Following an extensive discussion with
the undersigned, the Forum produced a detailed and extensive report on the
situation, quoting a wide range of international organisations from across the
maritime and transport sector. The report, which has been reported widely in
